We Want Your Best Mardi Gras Photos - 2014 Photo Contest

With the parades beginning to roll down St. Charles Avenue, it's time for the third annual Mardi Gras Photo Contest.

Mardi Gras is the perfect backdrop for photographers. Fabulous costumes you won’t see anywhere else, larger-than-life parade floats, an abundance of beads and so much more beauty and mystique make for amazing photos.

That’s why you should enter the Mardi Gras New Orleans third annual photo contest. We want your best photos. Shots of passing parades or pictures of Mardi Gras Indians taking to the streets, we want your best photos from the celebrations that surround this year’s Mardi Gras.

Who knows, you could take the winning photo and win the grand prize.

This year's Grand Prize winner will enjoy a stay at the elegant Masion Dupuy, a luxury hotel located in the French Quarter. It’s located within walking distance to Jackson Square and other popular sights and attractions, as well as the world famous Bourbon Street. However, far enough away where you can enjoy a quiet, relaxing sleep.  

Also included, are a two tickets to a Gray Line New Orleans tour of the winner's choice. Gray Line New Orleans is the oldest locally owned tour company in New Orleans. Their tours include tours of the French Quarter, New Orleans’s historic cemeteries as well as beautiful plantation homes along the Mississippi River.

The winner will also enjoy a distinctly New Orleans breakfast for two at Café Beignet.

The prize for Second Place includes a Jazz Lunch Cruise for two aboard the Steamboat Natchez. The Steamboat Natchez is an authentic Steamboat that cruises daily along the Mississippi River serving up live jazz and traditional New Orleans cuisine along the way.

Second place also includes a retro dining experience at Frostop, a restaurant that serves fast food favorites paired with their original Frostop rootbeer.
