Dierks Bentley Headlines Lundi Gras

Everyone look out for Dierks Bentley at Lundi Gras. That’s right, he’s the headliner for Orpheuscapade. The Krewe of Orpheus announced the Grammy Award nominee will perform during the celebration February 16.

The country superstar has multiple number one hits and sold more than 5 million records, including this year’s super sing-along “Drunk on a Plane.”

"We are very excited to not only bring another first to Mardi Gras but to do it in the theatrical fashion for which the Krewe of Orpheus is known," Sonny Borey, the krewe's captain, said in the release.

The 22^nd annual Lundi Gras celebration is a chance to show off our city! The event will feature performances by talented local and world-renowned award-winning artists on three stages. We can’t wait to see the rest of what’s in store for the celebration! Event organizers say 2014 will include a more interactive and hi-tech experience!

The event takes place at the Woldenberg Park along the Mississippi River in the French Quarter. The party kicks off at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
