ALLA Gets Its Wish! New Date for 2020

ALLA to Roll on Valentine's Day 

Valentine's Day will be extra sweet in 2020. According to ALLA President and Assistant Captain Adam Strickland, The Krewe of ALLA 's wish to be moved from Sunday afternoon to the first Friday night of parades was recently granted by the city. This means ALLA will roll on Valentine's Day next year, following the Oshun and Cleopatra parades on their usual Uptown parade route.

ALLA was founded in 1932. Their theme for 2020 will be "Friday Night Flicks and Fun." The co-ed krewe is known for its handmade genie lamp throws like the one pictured here from their 2019 parade.
