Weather Causes Some Changes For Mardi Gras Weekend

Rain forecasts indicate strong chances of showers for both Friday and Saturday. Be sure to bring your rain gear, and be ready to be flexible with some parade scheduling. Parades may change route or start early depending upon forecast, but they will find a way to roll on! We've already seen parades shift times up half an hour for Friday night's parades.

Isis has already announced that they will now roll on Sunday after Napoleon in Metairie, and Endymion is scheduled to announce later this evening whether they will keep their original schedule or rolling on Sunday. It is possible that Endymion my shorten their route, or they could roll after Bacchus on Sunday night like they did in 2006.
