While Mardi Gras is still a few months away, the Big Easy will get a taste of our favorite season with a top-notch carnival style parade through the French Quarter this Halloween.
New Orleans official Halloween parade is preparing to roll through the streets of New Orleans Thursday, October 30. This can’t miss event features world class spooktacular floats built by Kern Studios, known for their marvelous Mardi Gras masterpieces.
The Mardi Gras like parade will also feature some of the best live local marching bands and locally made throws including New Orleans Roman Candy Taffy, Zapp’s Potato Chips, mini pumpkins, and more!
Krewe of Boo will start at Elysian Fields Avenue in Marigny and head to N. Peters Street on into the French Quarter. The parade will make its way to Henderson Street to Mardi Gras World where it will wind down.
The night promises to be a good time, where the party will continue until 2 a.m. with live music, food, and booze at Mardi Gras World. The party is open to the public for $25 a person, and costumes are required.
