Extravaganza's Home Away from the Dome

The Superdome will be undergoing a $450M renovation after football season in 2020 and that means the Krewe of Endymion, which typically rolls into the Dome for the Endymion Extravaganza after the parade, has changed its route for next year. Endymion will roll on Saturday, February 22nd at 4:15 p.m. For the 2020 Mardi Gras season, the parade will end and the Extravaganza festivities will begin at The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. 

While most of the parade route will remain the same in 2020, after passing Gallier Hall on St. Charles Avenue, Endymion will proceed to Julia Street, turn left, and then head to Convention Center Boulevard.

The Krewe expects to return to the Superdome for Mardi Gras 2021.
